The car will be mainly used for exporting to overseas markets, and the domestic version is Chery Tiggo 9 C-DM. The new car is equipped with Kunpeng ultra-performance hybrid C-DM system, which will be sold in the Russian market in the third quarter of this year.

The overseas version of Tiggo 9 PHEV is somewhat different from the fuel version in appearance, and the car is also different from Jaecoo J8 (the overseas version of Tiggo 9, which has been exported to Malaysia and Russia, etc.). The new car adopts a brand-new front design and is more fashionable and beautiful in shape.

The shape and structure of the headlights of Tiggo 9 PHEV have changed slightly; In particular, the daytime running light bar is not solid, but divided into three continuous light bars. This new car also adopts a new closed air intake grille, which adopts a radial shape around the logo and looks more fashionable. There is an air inlet split in two at the bottom of the front bumper, with a radar device in the middle and a pair of strangely designed vertical air ducts on both sides.

The side shape of Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV is the same as that of the fuel version, and it is equipped with a traditional exterior rearview mirror, a retractable hidden door handle, a black roof rail and chrome trim along the side glass line. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height are 4810/1925/1741 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is unknown. 19-inch and 20-inch rims are available.

On the rear side, it uses a penetrating taillight group with a "Plug-in Hybrid" logo in the lower right corner, which shows its different identities.

For the interior, the Tiggo 9 PHEV adopts an independent LCD instrument and a 15.6-inch 2.5K central control large screen, which is completely different from the large dual screen adopted by Jaecoo J8. The new car is also equipped with three flat-bottomed steering wheels, beige interiors and wooden decorative boards. In addition, this new car is also equipped with dual-zone air conditioning control, wireless charging of smart phones, remote engine start, head-up display, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking and lane keeping functions, blind spot monitoring, traffic congestion assistance and 360-degree camera.

In terms of power, referring to the power system of Tiggo 9 C-DM, Tiggo 9 PHEV will be equipped with Kunpeng super-performance electric hybrid C-DM system, which consists of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor, of which the maximum power of the engine is 115kW, matched with a 3-speed DHT gearbox and equipped with a ternary lithium battery, but the specific capacity is unknown.

The Russian price of Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV will be announced near the sale. For reference, the suggested retail price of Jaecoo J8 in Russia starts at 4,399,000 rubles, which is about RMB 350,000, so it is foreseeable that the price of Tiggo 9 PHEV will not be cheap.
