Shanghai started the registration and appointment of COVID-19 vaccine for compatriots aged 12 to 17 in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

  The Office of the Leading Group for Epidemic Prevention and Control in Shanghai released information on August 31st. According to the deployment of the joint prevention and control mechanism in the State Council, Shanghai started the registration and appointment vaccination of COVID-19, a compatriot aged 12 to 17 in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, at 20: 00 on September 1st.

  According to the principle of "informed, voluntary and at your own risk", compatriots in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan aged 12-17 who voluntarily take COVID-19 vaccine can make an online registration appointment through the health cloud platform with the Hong Kong and Macao residents’ residence permits issued by the public security department, Hong Kong and Macao residents’ travel permits to and from the Mainland, and mainland travel permit for taiwan residents and Taiwan Province residents’ residence permits. At the same time, they must provide relevant information of their parents or guardians, including their names, ID numbers and contact information.

  Compatriots aged 12 to 17 in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, accompanied by their parents or guardians, carry residence permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents, passports for Hong Kong and Macao residents to and from the Mainland, and residence permits for mainland travel permit for taiwan residents and Taiwan Province residents to the registration appointment point, present the "vaccination barcode" on the spot and voluntarily sign the informed consent form, and then carry out vaccination according to the staff’s instructions. Strictly observe the observation area for 30 minutes, and then leave without abnormality. If parents or guardians are unable to accompany the vaccination, they may entrust other personnel to accompany the vaccination, and sign the power of attorney and informed consent.

  At present, the vaccines vaccinated are Covid-19 inactivated vaccine from Sinopharm Zhongsheng Beijing Institute and Kexing Zhongxin Crown Virus inactivated vaccine, with two doses throughout the whole process. Compatriots aged 12 to 17 in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enjoy the same treatment as people of the same age in Shanghai, and receive free vaccination.
